Monthly Recap – February

This month I stayed in London for over a week, and it was the perfect opportunity to explore the city and visit shops, pop ups and art installations I normally would not have the time to see.

WESTBOURNE GROVE

I visited my old neighbourhood, popping into Diptique (if only to breathe in the stunning smells) and I finally got to see Love Shack Fancy, one of the most fun and flirty brands and interiors. I instantly fell in love – I suspect a dedicated blog post will follow soon 😉

YAYOI KUSAMA @ HARRODS

Artist Yayoi Kusama has transformed the exterior of Harrods into an art canvas with the façade of the building covered in her signature multi-coloured polka dots and a magnificent 15-metre-tall statue alongside the building.

Our earth is only one polka dot among a million stars on the cosmos/ polka dots are a way to infinity

THE ANYA CAFÉ & THE SLEEP STORE

Anya Hindmarch has created her own Anya village in the heart of Knightsbridge with a selection of retail stores, including the ultra-cosy concept shop The Sleep Store dedicated to calming bedtime rituals. I also popped into The Anya Café with its reinvented classic cakes and bakes.

THE SHARD

Lunch at Aqua in The Shard was a great excuse to play tourist, taking in the expansive views and classic skyline of London whilst dining and drinking cocktails.

SOHO HOUSE STUDIO

The flagship Soho House Studio on Kings Road is open for everyone to visit (rather than their usual exclusivity memberships) and it is full of design inspiration, exquisite furniture and home accessories for your dream interiors.
