WAREHOUSE APARTMENT – CONCEPTS, SAMPLE BOARDS & TECHNICAL DRAWINGS

A modern, cutting edge design balanced with the Art Deco inspired 1930s origin of the warehouse building. An apartment filled with neutrals, moody monochrome and splashes of muted colours leaving a feeling of relaxed refinement. Lighting includes sleek ornamentation providing that all needed wow factor! A seamless and an elegant flow throughout the space with a sense of calm and serenity. A home with timeless appeal where one can relax, take sanctuary and unwind with comfortable furnishings and handcrafted luxury.

HOTEL RECEPTION, LOBBY & BAR – CONCEPT, SAMPLE BOARDS, FLOOR PLANS, ELEVATIONS AND SKETCH PERSPECTIVE DRAWINGS

A space focused on restorative elegance and contemporary hygge through a pairing of muted, naturalistic blues, neutral creams and browns and lava greys. Fabrics include an unexpected layering of sumptuous velvets with rustic wool whilst lighting encompasses modern silhouettes allowing a peaceful sense of innovative minimalism. Key design features comprise of a sensational bespoke desk made from fossilised wood, a custom designed rug for the lobby and a bar that pays homage to the film Blue Velvet with shimmery blue shades and nostalgic furnishings.

EDENCOILLE B&B – SCOTLAND

A 5* Bed & Breakfast in the heart of the Highlands, this charming home offers luxury with a contemporary feel. We created the perfect blend of tradition yet modern style in a picturesque house with plenty natural light, wonderful art and curated finds with a lovely lived in feel. An additional guest bedroom was decorated to unify the scheme of both spaces with pared back design creating a dialogue with the outdoor highland landscape. Warm and earthy tones complimented with tactile textures and materials.

ARTISAN CAFE/ BAKERY – SAMPLE BOARDS, FLOOR PLANS AND ELEVATIONS

An inviting and mindful space with a palette of natural quiet hues and pastel summery shades. Lighting gives a sense of warmth and coastal sunlight with organic textures and natural details. Playing with old and new, understated vintage finds teamed with contemporary touches create an adventurous and wistful ambience. Hard furnishings showcase local handmade artistry and feel sentimental as well as firmly distinctive. An enlivening blend of craft and design, this café is a place to take a moment for oneself as well as connect with the community, with personalised hints and a characterful heart at the centre of the design.

SOUTH KENSINGTON – LONDON

Working as an assistant for the interior design company Atelier NM, this project involved modernising a one bedroom property with beautiful high ceilings. Creating a fluid sense of space and light with the backdrop of quirky and unique pieces reflecting the owners eclectic and unconventional style.

BATTERSEA POWER STATION – LONDON

Another project with Atelier NM – A sensational location in the centre of London, this two bedroom apartment with a view to die for was the backdrop for concrete greys and muted khaki greens. Bold, masculine and contemporary luxe elements brought light and expansion into the home, mirroring the grandeur of the power station right outside.

TOWNHOUSE DINING/RECEPTION – SAMPLE BOARD, FLOOR PLANS & ELEVATIONS

This brief included the development of a dining and reception/ media room. An overall feeling of warmth, character and community achieved by utilising the grand backdrop of Georgian architecture whilst introducing fresh, vivid and eco-logically responsible furnishings. The design includes a vibrant palette of deep hues and sun kissed shades, as well as sumptuous materials consisting of dark woods and opulent leathers. Lighting plays a starring role, combining contemporary living with informal indulgence.

PRIMROSE HILL – LONDON

This summer project whilst working as a design assistant with Atelier NM was this newly refurbished apartment. The client wanted to set up the space ready to let on airbnb, keeping the backdrop neutral to suit all tastes, yet injecting some colour through accessories and soft furnishings.

LIVING SPACE – SAMPLE BOARD

A sample board for an industrial style small living room with naturalistic rich greens and muted grey details with the inclusion of a ‘plant wall’ that signifies health and happiness. The idea of a ‘detox’ space away from the stresses of modern life, that relaxes you and further enhances peace and tranquility within a busy lifestyle.
