I dropped the ball last month by not including my Monthly Recap, so I have combined the going ons of March and April into this one post. A few treats and trips as well as some new Esty items for sale and FINALLY getting back into my interior sketching!

SIX BY NICO
I managed to catch the vibrant Tokyo inspired menu at one of my favourite Aberdeen restaurants – Six by Nico. Next up they have a menu dedicated to Lisbon, so I will have to get my space booked to ensure I do not miss out.

SKETCHING MIRANDA PRIESTLY’S OFFICE
After a very long time of not sketching, I used the @behindcanvas Devil Wears Prada online class to get motivated and back into my practise. It was a straightforward and expert course in which I completed an axonometric sketch of the office of Miranda Priestly.

NEW ETSY PIECES FOR EASTER
There were some brand new spring items added to the Esty shop including a stoneware vase, vintage books, and this antique suitcase – although I will need to go on another shopping spree as the suitcase sold almost immediately!

ISLE OF LEWIS & HARRIS VACATION
Easter weekend included a trip to the Outer Hebrides, Lewis & Harris. Stunning vast beaches, endless winding roads and truly magnificent scenery. We stayed at an elegant Airbnb overlooking the sea and squeezed in visits to the Harris Gin distillery, a long walk along the Postman’s Trail and a scrumptious dinner at Uig Sands.

A dedicated Travel Décor blog post about our wonderful Airbnb will be up next month… in the meantime enjoy my holiday snaps.
