THE SAVOY
The month started off with a fantastic treat, a visit to The Savoy in London. I had been gifted a voucher for Champagne Afternoon Tea a couple years ago, prior to lockdown, so we were finally able to make use of it. Despite growing up and living in London for years I had never actually visited The Savoy before. It does not disappoint with opulent interiors, decadent food and quite frankly, amazing people watching.
OKU KOS
This month I was lucky enough to travel and go on holiday to Kos, Greece where we stayed at the stunningOku Hotel. The location is gorgeous with a calming sandy beach as well as private pools for each of the rooms. There was lots of relaxing, reading and of course, eating! I shared all about the hotel and its contemporary boho interior in last week’s blog.
PUMPKIN PATCH
It is that time of the year where we embrace the spooky and we seem to be more and more influenced by American traditions, such as pumpkin patches, which I have noticed are cropping up around where I live. So of course, I visited one! Corrimony Farm is situated near Loch Ness and is also where I went sunflower picking last month. This time a few pumpkins suited me fine and they have been placed in our hallway alongside the pampas grass for the ultimate autumnal décor.

MACALLAN DISTILLERY
It has been 60 years of James Bond films, and as his whiskey of choice, the Macallan Distillery have arranged an exhibition filled with memorabilia, artwork as well as a series of limited-edition bottles of the spirit to commemorate this diamond anniversary. The Macallan Distillery is always an astounding place to visit due to the magnificent architecture by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. The building is cut into the landscape with naturally sloping roofs covered in Scottish wildflowers whilst the open plan layout and inside feels cutting edge and vastly immense.
